On-line meals supply agency Zomato, on Thursday, mentioned its subsidiary Zomato Funds Pvt Ltd (ZPPL) has obtained authorisation from RBI to function as an internet fee aggregator.
The corporate had disclosed on August 4, 2021 concerning the incorporation of ZPPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary, to hold out the enterprise as a fee aggregator and issuer of pre-paid fee devices.
“We want to inform that ZPPL has been granted certificates of authorisation dated January 24, 2024, from the Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) to function as an ‘On-line Fee Aggregator’ in India with impact from January 24, 2024, as per the rules issued by the RBI,” Zomato mentioned in a regulatory submitting.
