Neil Parekh Nimil Rajnikant, hailing from Gujarat, has been nominated as MP within the Singapore Parliament.
Nimil, 60, chairman of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Business, and a council member of the Singapore Enterprise Federation, is among the many three Indian-origin Singaporeans nominated as MPs.
The opposite two are Chandradas Usha Ranee, co-founder of Plural Artwork Journal and course coordinator on the Nanyang Enterprise Faculty, and lawyer Raj Joshua Thomas.
Based on media reviews, a complete of 9 MPs have been chosen by a particular choose committee of the Parliament. The Committee is headed by then Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin. They might serve a tenure of two-and-half years and they are going to be sworn in subsequent month.
A complete of 30 names have been put for consideration out of which 9 have been chosen, together with these of Indian origin.
