West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite received the toss and opted to bat within the first Check in opposition to India in Roseau on Wednesday.
India handed debut caps to 21-year-old left handed opened Yashasvi Jaiswal and wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan whereas native man Alick Athanaze will play his maiden Check for the house workforce.
