Ukrainian forces have stated they’ve reclaimed Klishchiivka, a tactically necessary city south of Bakhmut. “Klishchiivka was cleared of Russians,” Oleksandr Syrsky, the commander of the Ukrainian army’s floor forces, stated on social media, Al Jazeera reported.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Chief of Employees Andriy Yermak, added: “Klishchiivka is Ukraine. I’m grateful to the troopers for the de-occupation of Ukrainian land.”
The city was captured by Russian forces in January. The victory comes at a time when Zelenskyy prepares for his second wartime go to to Washington in a bid to rally help.
