A strong 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted a number of elements of Pakistan on Sunday morning, sparking panic and forcing residents to flee their houses.
The epicentre of the quake was the border area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and it originated at a depth of 223 km, which significantly lowered its devastating influence, in accordance with the Nationwide Seismic Monitoring in Islamabad.
The shocks had been reported in Islamabad, Peshawar, Swat, Haripur, Malakand, Abbottabad, Batgram, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Texlia, Pind Dadan Khan and a number of other different elements of the nation.
No lack of life or property has been reported to this point.
Pakistan usually witnesses earthquakes of various magnitudes.
