Aditya-L1 is the primary space-based Indian observatory to check the solar. It’s designed to supply distant observations of the photo voltaic corona and in-situ observations of the photo voltaic wind at L1 or the Lagrangian level between the solar and the earth. The purpose is about 1.5 million kilometre from the earth.
It is going to be India’s first devoted area mission for observations of the solar. ISRO stated in a publish on X platform that the spacecraft can be launched by PSLV-C57 rocket.

What’s going to Aditya L1 research?
The Aditya-L1 mission, geared toward finding out the solar from an orbit across the L1, would carry seven payloads to look at the photosphere, chromosphere and the outermost layers of the solar, the corona, in numerous wavebands. It’s going to additionally observe the in-situ particle and plasma surroundings offering knowledge for the research of particle dynamics from the solar.
Earlier, ISRO chairman S. Somnath stated the area company can also be preparing for the primary section of Gaganyaan, which goals to ship people to area. “We’re additionally planning a mission by the top of September or October to show our crew module and crew escape functionality, which can be adopted by many take a look at missions till we launch our first manned mission to area (Gaganyaan), probably by 2025.”
